Siemens & Halske ZBSA 19

Successor to the ZBSA 11, the socalled Schlagring (nuckleduster). The main difference between the two is the dial.

ZBSA stands for ZentralBatterie SelbstAnschluss, Central Battery Automatic dialing. The number 19 refers to the year of introduction, 1919.

This was the very first standard desk telephone for the German Telegraph and Telephone authority.
