A combined wall and desk one piece telephone, although it need a bracket to hang on the wall. The bracket does not have any functional parts. The hookswitch is activated by putting the phone upside down on a flat surface or putting it in the wall bracket and consist of 2 small black buttons on the lower edge of the telephone.

Although it is a push button telephone, this model actually dials pulse and not tone.

It was not produced by PTT itself, nor any other Dutch manufacturer. The name Helsinki refers to its country of origin and the telephone is actually a LE-3100 made by the Finnish company Laukamo Oy. The box does not show its Finnish origin and neither does the telephone itself, at first sight.

But when the small number card is removed, the original manufacturer, type number and production date are revealed. In this case I managed to find one in its original box, new and unused. It even has a small bag with wall plugs and screws. It was made in 1985 and the box shows it was available in the colours red, black and white.
