An extremely rare model, as I have not been able to find any reference to it nor a picture of another specimen of this phone. And believe me, I did ask around.
It is an all bakelite telephone, with nickel plated metal dial. Cords are braided, not straight cloth covered.
The particular example that I have is not well used. There is not much wear and tear on it, no sign of repairs or alterations. I assume it is totally original, even down to the bakelite terminal box.
As the title of this article indicates at the moment I do not know what the model number or name of this telephone is. Even the name of the manufacturer is unclear. It was made in a factory that once was part of the Prchal Ericsson company. That factory was located in Brno, which was annexed by the German Reich in 1939, when the city was renamed Brün. As this factory no longer appeared to make Ericsson products, it is questionable if they still used the name Prchal-Ericsson.
